Connecting with The One Who Loves Us Most

Good morning, everyone. I pray you are all doing well. I have had some thoughts on my heart that I want to share with you this morning. Before we dive in, I hope you have your cup of coffee or tea with you. I am drinking a vanilla latte this morning and it tastes wonderful. Have you ever felt like life can beat you down sometimes? Have you ever felt like life itself can be too much? Are you feeling like no one is listening when you are struggling through various circumstances? I have some good news for you my friend, it's time for you to connect with the One who loves you most. You see that longing in your heart, that emptiness that cannot seem to be filled by anything earthly can only be filled by the One who longs for your heart. Adonai wants to connect with you, He wants your heart, He wants to come into your life and change it completely. He wants to replace your fears with His shalom, He wants to replace your doubt with His emunah, He wants to offer you a new life, a second ...

From Chaos to Calm with a Morning Routine

Have you ever felt like you never have enough time in the mornings? Have you ever felt like you were in a marathon race against the clock trying to get out the door on time for work? Do you feel like trying to get yourself ready plus everyone else in your home is chaotic and stressful? If you have said yes to all these, then be rest assured, you are not alone. I was once there myself, in fact, that was me this past school year. I would wake up when the alarm would go off and reach over and turn it off and roll over and go back to sleep for another 20-30 minutes or so. When I finally got up,    I would feel like I was in a full marathon race against the clock and by time I got into my car, I felt like a wreck. I was stressed and frazzled and left feeling defeated.  So, where did I go wrong? I had my clothes picked out, I had prayed and read some scripture, what could possibly be the culprit? The culprit was...I was scrolling through my phone reading the headlines for the d...

Shabbat- A Beautiful Gift

Good afternoon, everyone! I hope you are all doing well. As I am sitting here writing this blog, I just enjoyed a delicious lunch that consisted of a yummy chicken sandwich that I have been craving this week with fries and an iced lemonade. I was enjoying my scrumptious sandwich, all I kept thinking about was how I have been looking forward to Shabbat. You may be asking, what is Shabbat? Shabbat is the day of rest that Adonai gave us according to His word. He too rested from His week of creating the world and everything in it according to Genesis or Bereshit chapter one in the Bible. He set the pattern for us so that we could walk and follow His footsteps.  We live in such a fast-paced world and we are constantly on the go and doing this and doing that. We can be so on the go all the time that we neglect our time to rest not just physically, but also spiritually. We need that time to reconnect with our Creator, to focus on Him with uninterrupted time. Also this is a special ...

Living Life Colorfully

Hello everyone, I pray you are all doing well. I have an encouraging post that I would like to share with you all. I believe that in times like the ones we are currently in, we need encouragement. Before we begin, I hope you have your hot cup of tea or coffee with you.  With the new school year just around the corner, I found myself feeling melancholy about another new year. The anticipation and uncertainty of beginning a new year was beginning to be overwhelming. This past Sunday morning, I was sitting in my bed silently praying to Adonai asking Him, "How can I begin a new school year feeling like this?" "Please Adonai, I need to You to change my perspective about this year." As I was praying, these two words came to my mind, "Live colorfully." I thought, "What does this mean, are we talking a Kate Spade commercial?" So, I began looking up what this means and it had to do with the promises of God. I immediately thought of the rainbow and thoug...
