About Me

Welcome! My name is Katherine and I am currently finishing up my teaching degree to become a teacher! I do work at a school and I currently work with a group of four year olds who keep me on my toes. I love Israel and my Jewish mishpocha! I cherish my Jewish roots and I embrace them every chance I can! I will share the story behind the name of the "Am Yisrael Chai Lady" in another post in the future. I love to be in the kitchen cooking, I also love to run outdoors and breathe the fresh air. Reading is a must for me along with drinking a hot cup of tea in the evenings. Classy fashion with a statement piece or bright colored accessories is my thing! Teaching is my passion and enjoying and embracing life! I love encouraging others and spreading kindness especially in the world that we are living in now. I pray you are blessed and encouraged as you read my blog posts, until then!

Before we begin, I hope you have your hot cup of tea or coffee with you.  With the new school year just around the corner, I found myself feeling melancholy about another new year. The anticipation and uncertainty of beginning a new year was beginning to be overwhelming. "Please Adonai, I need to You to change my perspective about this year." As I was praying, these two words came to my mind, "Live colorfully." Connecting with The One Who Loves Us Most

Good morning, everyone. I pray you are all doing well. I have had some thoughts on my heart that I want to share with you this morning. Before we dive in, I hope you have your cup of coffee or tea with you. I am drinking a vanilla latte this morning and it tastes wonderful. Have you ever felt like life can beat you down sometimes? Have you ever felt like life itself can be too much? Are you feeling like no one is listening when you are struggling through various circumstances? I have some good news for you my friend, it's time for you to connect with the One who loves you most. You see that longing in your heart, that emptiness that cannot seem to be filled by anything earthly can only be filled by the One who longs for your heart. Adonai wants to connect with you, He wants your heart, He wants to come into your life and change it completely. He wants to replace your fears with His shalom, He wants to replace your doubt with His emunah, He wants to offer you a new life, a second ...
